Jerry Seinfeld performed at the Everglades Foundation gala Friday at The Breakers in Palm Beach.
And as the University of Miami did two weeks ago, the foundation found tons of cash in Palm Beach at its yearly fundraiser at The Breakers.
With more than 650 in attendance, the star-studded affair has become one of South Florida’s biggest society galas.
It’s the function that usually attracts major acts for the entertainment (Sting, Dave Matthews, Kenny Chesney and Jimmy Buffett over the past years) and lures big names among guests.
This time around, comedian Jerry Seinfeld and the rockers of ZZ Top performed — free of charge!
And seen pressing the flesh at the cocktail hour – singers Jimmy Buffett and Thalía, TV home-improver Bob Vila, U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson, U.S. Rep. Patrick Murphy, author Carl Hiaasen, and golf legend Jack Nicklaus, among plenty of swells.
