‘It’s dedicated to my mother’, Thalía on her new album

Thalia is dedicating her new album Habítame Siempre to her late mother Yolanda Miranda Mange. The Mexican singer’s mom reportedly died of a heart attack during May of last year. Since then, the 41-year-old poured her energy into the studio and made sure to honor her mom’s spirit with her first musical project since her hit 2009 album, Primera Fila.

“This album is dedicated to my mother” she tells People en Español. Thalia also adds, “All of the songs reach at a deep personal level. Each song represents a moment in our history… those magical moments that we shared as mother and daughter.”

Last September, the pop star hosted a private live concert, which was recorded for Univision at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. Thalia took the stage looking vibrant and eventually enlisted Prince Royce to come out and perform their duet, “Te Perdiste Mi Amor”.

Habítame Siempre is out now. Listen to Thalia honoring her mother below and let us know your thoughts. Can you relate to her message?
