Umagang Kay Ganda host Anthony Taberna proudly showed several gifts he received from Mexican star Thalía. On the ABS-CBN morning show on Thursday, Taberna showed a magazine autographed by Thalía, as well as a book and a CD. “Gusto lang po naming pasalamatan si Thalía dahil sa kanyang pinadala sa amin. Nag-tweet po kasi siya”, Taberna said.
“Ito pong (magazine), may libro pa po nakalagay ‘with love to Anthony Taberna’ Yun pala ang pirma niya”, Taberna said.
Taberna also reassured the actress that Filipinos still love her. “Thalía, how can we forget such beautiful face? Totoo yon, mula pa noong maliliit pa kami, lahat ay naadik kay Marimar, Maria Mercedes at Maria la del Barrio”, he said.
He also reiterated his offer to Thalía to visit Manila again and be a guest on the morning show. “We have a standing offer to you to guest on Umagang Kay Ganda. Gusto lang naming malaman niyo na itong pinadala ni Thalía ay pinadala niya sa pamamagitan ng kanyang staff”, he said.
“Thalía if you are watching you can first tweet us to our Twitter account. We will wait for another batch of goodies. If you can not come over we can interview you via Skype. Besos muchos, muchos gracias amiga”, Taberna said.
