MEC Entertainment, the branded entertainment division of Mediaedge, in partnership with the Univision Network, AT&T and Sony Music, announce the new original television special ‘AT&T presenta Thalía en Primera Fila’ which will be broadcast on December 13, at 4pm ET/PT on the Univision Network.
The hour-long program is a first-person documentary based on Thalía’s life edited with highlights from her new live concert, on which her latest CD/DVD project, ‘Thalía en Primera Fila’ is based. The album debuted as one of the highest selling albums of this week according to the Billboard Latin Chart.
MEC Entertainment worked on behalf of AT&T and in collaboration with Sony Music Latin, to bring the original special to life on Univision. “The launch of this television program establishes AT&T as a market leader in original programming for the Hispanic audience”, said Chet Fenster, Managing Partner, MEC Entertainment.
In addition to presenting the special on Univision, AT&T will offer viewers exclusive Thalía ringtones, which can be downloaded through a short code that will be promoted on-air. The special will also be available on AT&T owned platforms (including U-verse) at a later date. Additionally, AT&T will promote the Univision program and Thalía’s CD/DVD to their Hispanic consumer base.
